About Us

Adopt a dog from our rescue shelter. We are giving homeless and abandoned dogs the happy, healthy and safe life they deserve!

Narelle Pamuk, Chairman and Operator of Sai Kung Stray Friends Foundation

Message from Narelle Pamuk, Chairman

“We at Sai Kung Stray Friends Foundation (SKSFF) are a group of volunteers who rescue stray, abandoned, sick and injured dogs to provide them with medical care and rehabilitation. Every dog that is rescued is health checked, de-sexed, vaccinated and given flea, tick and heartworm prevention. They also try to provide any necessary treatment and emergency surgery that may be needed.

The aim is to find these beautiful dogs, a kind and responsible adopter which can give them a loving forever home and help them have a better life. If you haven’t experienced the joy of adopting a dog, now is the right time!

We need a minimum HK$150,000 monthly to keep the shelter running. We rely solely on donations from the community.”

Message from Kathy Leung, Kennel Manger

“The foundation is actively looking for volunteers to aid with dog walking duties and to provide basic manpower in assisting with the kennels. Your support can make a huge difference in the life of one or more dogs.

We are very grateful for any donations and help that we receive. Any donation would be appreciated, whether it’s once-off or a monthly donation.

Schools, groups and companies are welcome to visit the facility for a hands-on experience.

Kathy Leung, Kennel Manager

Sai Kung Stray Friends Foundation is a Hong Kong registered Charity.

Adopting a Rescue Dog = Leaving a Significant, Lifesaving Impact

We currently have over 100 dogs at our Sai Kung kennel, they are all waiting for their forever homes. One of them could be perfect for you. It is so rewarding to know that a dog could have a better life because of you. Their love and gratitude will transform your life and teach you lessons about life that you never even expected.

Our meals-on-wheels program delivers food and clean water to street dogs 365 days a year. We have a small group of volunteers who personally deliver food and water to the street dogs and make sure they have shelter and warmth. Group also desex, microchip and rabies vaccinate the dogs, who live happily in harmony with the local villages.

We have earned a long-standing reputation in the local community. I have been running the charity for more than 12 years with the help of our kennel manager Kathy and a team of regular volunteers.

Your support, whether be a donor, a sponsor, a kennel volunteer, a volunteer helping on the street selling soft toys, group fundraising or donating gifts to sell, it allows us to do what we do best: “helping dogs to have a better life”.

Thank YOU so much!

Narelle Pamuk, Sai Kung′s Person of the Year 2019
